Nayla Savannah

To kick off our second year, we’re celebrating those under-appreciated all-stars of academia, TEACHERS, and the staff that keep our schools functioning!

Complete with a lineup of experienced educators featuring magician Ben Nemzer, powerful songstress Suzanne Nichols, and LA’s own late night purveyor of variety… from “Home Movies” (where he played a teacher) and his weekly variety show, “Tomorrow!”, celebrating its 19th year, the riotous Ron Lynch joins the fun!!

With music from The Varietyville Pickers, sketches and characters from The Varietyvillians with legendary character actor M.C. Gainey, puppetry by Dan Garza, and your host, Austin Laine Walker, this special night is dedicated to all the folks who are dedicated to educating, so we’re making it FREE for all school teachers and staff!

As the fella once said, “It’s great to learn ‘cause knowledge is power,” so let your mind flower at Varietyville Back to School at 8pm on September 12th at the L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre in beautiful Burbank, California.

“Fluid” is an electrifying song that explores the complexities of navigating life’s challenges while maintaining a sense of self. With lyrics like, “I been going through it but I been moving fluid though,” Nayla delivers a powerful message of perseverance over Scott Delta’s production. The track encapsulates her journey through stress, ambition, and the pursuit of dreams, creating an emotional connection that resonates deeply.

“Funky Fake” stands out as a powerful expression of frustration and disillusionment in relationships where authenticity is often compromised. In her first venture into the soft rock genre, Nayla Savannah delivers a gripping performance that combines her signature emotive style with a fresh, dynamic sound. The song’s lyrics are a raw and honest critique of stalled relationships, capturing the essence of feeling deceived and the desire for genuine connections.
